Non-coding RNAs
Our interests in noncoding RNAs are primarily in two fields: (1) microRNA and small RNA pathways in animal defense against viruses and bacteria, and (2) long noncoding RNA, especially Xist and Tsix, and their roles in X-chromosome inactivation. In both areas, we aim to contribute to therapeutic advances.
